#Part 3 Which installation method would you like to use? Is your work desk suitable with the monitor arm?

There are four common monitor arm installation methods: clamp mount, grommet mount, wall mount and base mount.

1. Clamp mount: On the edge of the table, clamp the base of the monitor arm, which is suitable for the table with no obstacles on the edge of the table, and will not cause any damage to the table.
Disadvantages: There are basic requirements for the thickness and material of the table.
2. Grommet mount: After drilling holes in any position on the table, set the monitor arm from the bottom of the table, which is the most solid and free installation method.
Disadvantages: Permanent damage to the table.
3. Wall mount: After drilling holes on the wall, lock the base to completely release the space occupied by the monitor arm on the table.
Disadvantage: Permanent damage to walls.
4. Base mount: Just like the stand provided by the original screen, it can be directly placed on the table and has the highest applicability.
Disadvantages: The monitor is less adjustable and takes up more table space.
